Abstract

The nanoparticle laser-assisted technologies arouse the interest of researchers thanks to the possibilities to apply the unique nanoparticle properties in biomedicine [1] and photonics [2]. A separate branch is the silicon nanoparticle formation under the laser ablation [3]. The silicon nanocrystals have the electronic and optical properties which differ sufficiently from ones for the bulk material. The method of the laser ablation in liquids is one of the most promising technologies of the nanoparticle production [4]. However, the silicon nanocrystal manufacturing by this method has not been sufficiently investigated to the present time.
