Abstract

In the absence of a reference pulse, complete temporal characterization of femtosecond pulses needs a non linear or non stationary filter[1]. The availability of a reference pulse (with a known spectral phase) hugely simplifies the measurement set-up and algorithm by using spectral interferometry [2,3].
