Abstract

Self-stimulating Raman (self-Raman) laser technology, based on Raman-active laser crystals such as Nd doped vanadates or Nd doped tungstates in combination with a frequency-doubling crystal, is capable of providing simple, low-cost, and compact yellow laser systems.
