Coherence Properties of High-Beta Semiconductor Micropillar Lasers

Abstract

Coherence properties of high-beta micropillar lasers have been investigated by microphotoluminescence, first- and second-order correlation measurements. A strong increase in coherence time of the lasing mode is traced within the transition regime into stimulated emission.
