Abstract

A Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) beam, exhibiting an orbital angular momentum, has received many demands for various applications including optical manipulation and material processing. Conventional method for producing the LG beams involves using a hologram or a spatial light modulator (SLM). However, this involves a significant amount of wastage of beam power, and it limits the output power to be.
