Abstract

We explore transduction between the radio-frequency and near-infrared domain in nanoscale metasurfaces to demonstrate multi-pixel spatial light modulators. We custom-tailor their optical, radio-frequency and electro-optic response at the nanoscale. We investigate guided mode resonances and bound states in the continuum cross-functionalized with state-of the art organic nano-molecules JRD1 that have combined merits of record efficiency in a broadband range and low electronic consumption per pixel.
