Multiheterodyne differential spectroscopy using dual-comb generation based on a dual-drive Mach Zehnder modulator

Abstract

In this work, we present a system for performing spectroscopy measurements using a multimode multiheterodyne source generated with a dual-drive Mach Zehnder modulator and direct modulation over the seed laser. The system has been used to recover an absorption line shape of an HCN with far less setup complexity than other state-of-the-art approaches.
