Abstract

A new ranging technique is proposed using multi-wavelength laser interferometry with wavelength de-multiplexed detectors to alleviate the range-resolution trade-off inherent in many contemporary ranging techniques. We demonstrate 3-mm range and 10-nm resolution with two-wavelengths.
