Liquid-level Sensor Using Optical Microfiber Probe

Abstract

A liquid-level sensor using reflective optical microfiber probe as the sensing element is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. By monitoring the reflection wavelength shift, an ultrahigh liquid-level sensitivity of ~153.5 nm/mm is achieved.
