Remote Photo-Acoustic Spectroscopy (PAS) with an Optical Pickup Microphone

Abstract

We propose a new gas detection method with optical wave microphone(OWM). It enables PAS remotely without installing conventional microphone where acoustic wave stands. We successfully detected acoustic signal from C2H2 with OWM.
