Photo-Acoustic Sensor for Detection of Oil Contamination in Compressed Air Systems

Abstract

We demonstrate an in-situ sensor to detect oil contamination in compressed air complying with the ISO-8573 standard. The sensor is based on the photo-acoustic effect and will be beneficial for a large category of industries.
