Abstract

An integrating sphere generates wavelength dependent speckle patterns that realizes an ultra-sensitive wavemeter with sub-femtometre resolution. Utilizing this wavemeter, we stabilize a laser for atom cooling of Rubidium to better than 1 MHz.
