Laser Processing of Optofluidic Devices for Lab-on-a-chip and Lab-in-fiber

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Ultrafast laser 3D structuring enables fiber cladding circuits and optofluidic microsystems to form and integrate seamlessly inside optical fiber. Efficient coupling with the fiber core waveguide opens prospects for ubiquitous sensing networks and smart catheters.
