Abstract

In this work we demonstrate a novel concept for imaging live humans through smoke and flames. We make use of lens-less Digital Holography at far Infrared Radiation (IRDH) to discard the flame emission, thus overcoming the limits of current IR sensors. Hence, new imaging devices can be developed and employed by firefighters on the field in case of fire accidents.
