Modulation diversity transmitter for broadband chromatic dispersion compensation and spur-free dynamic range improvement in analog photonic links

Abstract

A modulation-diversity transmitter is experimentally demonstrated to compensate power fading of RF signal with a bandwidth up to 15-GHz over 40-km SMF transmission. An enhancement of 16.5 dB •·Hz2/3 in SFDR is obtained.
