Slow amplification of externally injected strong THz pulses in a THz quantum cascade laser

Abstract

We present transmission measurements on a terahertz quantum cascade laser (QCL) by means of time-domain spectroscopy employing a strong THz pulse source in order to examine amplification potential of the QCLs for emerging applications.
