Abstract

All-fiber based chirped-pulse-amplification enabled by Normal Dispersion Thulium Fiber (NDTF). Soliton pulses at 1875nm are stretched in a highly-nonlinear fiber, amplified through the NDTF, and compressed in telecom fiber from 3.3ps to 309fs.
