Abstract

Fibre-optical Mechanical & Thermal Multi-parameter Instrument is based on the principle of discrete optical fiber sensing. In this research it is applied to monitor underflow of hydraulic structure model. The result indicates that the velocity and turbulent frequency can be detected by the instrument.
