Remote and real-time low dose rate gamma radiation measurement using NaI(Tl) based fiber optic sensor

Abstract

A low activity radiation fiber optic measurement system is investigated, NaI(Tl) scintillation crystal attached to a UV optical fiber act as the sensing probe. More than 200 counts can be obtained with the demonstrated sensor.
