Abstract

Single-pass frequency conversion of picosecond Nd:YAG/CaCO3 Raman laser (1.064/1.203 & 1.384 µm) into the mid-infrared wavelengths of 9.2 and 4.6 µm by the difference-frequency generation in a LiGaS2 crystal is presented.
