Direct Measurement of the Phase Coherence of Comb Sources

Abstract

We report on a novel and general method capable of measuring the coherence and the time evolution of the phases of laser comb modes. Applications to Near-IR, Mid-IR and Far-IR (THz) comb sources are presented.
