Phase control of high-order harmonics (HHG) in noble gas mixture by phase matching and interference effects

Abstract

We experimentally observe strong modulation of HHG spectrum in a gas mixture. Calculation results show phase of harmonics are contributed by phase-matching and interference effects, resulting in strong spectrum modulation and may benefit tunable XUV generation.
