Measuring Very Low Frequency with Phase-OTDR assisted by an Auxiliary Interferometer

Abstract

A phase-OTDR assisted by an auxiliary interferometer is proposed. The minimum detectable frequency can reach to 0.1 Hz on a 5 km sensing fiber with 10 m spatial resolution.
