Bidirectional mode-locked Er-fiber laser with symmetrical cavity configuration

Abstract

Bidirectional mode-locked Er-fiber laser with two saturable absorber mirrors and nonlinear polarization rotation is developed. Remarkable broad optical spectra in both directions with high relative stability is performed owing to symmetrical cavity configuration.
