Joint-Switching Characteristics of LCoS-Based Wavelength Selective Switches

Abstract

We show that inter-subchannel crosstalk of a joint-switching wavelength-selective-switch based on a liquid-crystal-on-silicon spatial-light modulator significantly degrades while the applied optical attenuation increases even in an interleaved fiber arrangement.
