Abstract

This paper describes recent solutions for microwave instantaneous frequency measurement (IFM) systems based on integrated microwave photonics, with particular emphasis on the use of waveguide Bragg gratings (WBG) as a possible approach for the creation of a monolithic photonic IFM system.
