Enhanced Fluorescence Collection from Color Centers via Channeling Through a Diamond Pyramid

Abstract

We study silicon-vacancy centers in commercial diamond AFM tips. Fluorescence collection is enhanced by ~15× when collected at the base due a channeling effect given by the tapered geometry.
