Double Mueller matrix measurement of KTP crystal

Abstract

The double Mueller matrix(4X9) measurement of type II phase matched KTP (Pottasssium titanyl phosphate) crystal is presented. The susceptibility tensor elements and also the phase relations among them are determined using the double Stokes Mueller formalism. This technique has been used for the first time to characterize non biological materials.
