We accurately measure the electro-optic coefficients of MgO-doped and undoped congruent and stoichiometric LiNbO3 using high-quality crystal and a reliable AC-field applying method. The obtained values of r33 and r13 at 633 nm are found to be nearly the same for the four materials, respectively, within the experimental accuracy.
