Abstract

We have developed high resolution and highly accurate FMCW optical ranging system using a VCSEL, and applied it to three-dimensional object profiling. The spatial resolution of 0.9 mm and the measurement accuracy of 36 μm are achieved, and we can successfully image a coin and a printed circuit board.
