Abstract

We demonstrate an all-fiber femtosecond laser pulse generation at 1.55 μm and 2 μm using a passively mode-locked Er- and Tm-doped laser, where in two ring cavities we used a common carbon-nanotube (CNT) based saturable absorber (SA) to achieve passive mode-locking operation. We observed the stable pulse operation at the both wavelengths.
