Abstract

Current progress in blue and green InGaN laser diodes (LDs) realizes direct pumping of solid-state lasers. Performances of Pr3+-doped LiYF4 visible lasers and Ti3+-doped Al2O3 lasers pumped by 440-nm and 532-nm LDs respectively are reviewed.
