Giant electric field enhancement in a multilayered dipole nano-antenna

Abstract

We investigate the electric field enhancement in multilayered dipole nano-antenna and show that the combination of Au/SiO2 layers taken at a 50% filling factor can produce extremely high field enhancements in the order of 17.9.
