Proposal of Waveguide Interferometer for In-Line Wavelength-Selective Modulator

Abstract

Simple integrated-photonic device capable of wavelength-selective optical modulation in a single straight waveguide is proposed and discussed. An interferometer is formed by three distributed Bragg reflectors. Construction of the interferometer was experimentally confirmed.
