Abstract

Nd3+:LuF3 thin film was grown by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). Additionally, a vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) light emitting device was demonstrated by consisting of Nd3+:LuF3 thin film as phosphor and carbon-nanofibers (CNFs) field electron emitter.
