Abstract

We used Coulomb explosion imaging (CEI) to observe enhanced ionization (EI) in nitrogen and carbon dioxide molecules. In N2 we observed electron localization with time-resolved CEI using few-cycle laser pulses. In CO2 we reconstructed molecular structure from triple coincidence measurements while varying pulse duration from 7 fs to 200 fs.
