Abstract

Photoluminescence spectra of organic semiconducting thin film crystals [2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-5-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole, etc.] grown from the melts have been investigated under high-density photo-excitation, suggesting the occurrence of amplified spontaneous emission from the organic thin film crystals.
