Diagnostics of laser-induced plasma from fresh vegetable tissues

Abstract

Electron density and temperature of the plasma induced on fresh potatoes have been measured using the time-resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy. The excitation temperatures are evaluated for different elements to validate the local thermal equilibrium within the plasma.
