Reconfigurable all-optical logic AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR and XNOR gates implemented by photonic crystal nonlinear cavities

Abstract

We proposed an all-optical logic system constructed by combining cross-waveguide geometries including nonlinear cavity enabling all-kinds of logic gates. Proposed logic system is reconfigurable into any kinds of Boolean operations by appropriate placing of defect rods and adjusting its refractive index.
