Abstract

Using the double-pass forward configuration, the mean wavelength stability of erbium doped Suprfluorescent Fiber Source (SFS) is demonstrated and investigated. The dependence of the mean wavelength on pump wavelength was negligible, which was measured to be 1.4 ppm/nm when this source is pumped at 1480 nm wavelength.
