Simulation of femtosecond pulse propagation through hollow fiber in temperature gradient gases

Abstract

We propose a novel technique to broaden the spectrum of intense femtosecond pulses though a hollow fiber, where the temperature of the hollow fiber was set different. The simulation confirmed that temperature gradient is similar to that of the pressure gradient, without differential pumping.
