Abstract

We prepare SiO2 matrix by sol-gel process for the homogeneous dispersion of carbon nanotubes. Gelation condition of the matrix is optimized in order not to have any significant agglomeration of the nanotubes. All-fiber mode-locked laser is realized using the nanotube-doped glass deposited onto an intracavity fiber laser component.
