Abstract

We report a high-speed quantum key distribution experiment using sinusoidally gated InGaAs/InP avalanche photodiodes. Our quantum key distribution system implementing the differential phase shift key quantum key distribution protocol generated the secure keys with 0.33 Mbps over 15 km when the system clock was 500 MHz.
