Phase noise measurement of mode locked lasers using guided wave PPKTP balanced cross correlators

Abstract

Channel waveguides in PPKTP are used to demonstrate a guided wave balanced cross correlator in the telecom band. The device is used to measure the relative timing jitter between two 200 MHz fiber lasers.
