Contact Printing of Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode on Silicon Probe Tip

Abstract

A novel quantum dot based LED is fabricated directly on a micromachined silicon probe. Monolayers of quantum dots are precisely deposited at the probe tip through microcontact printing and electrically excited to show successful electroluminescence.
