Structurally Reconfigurable Metamaterials at Terahertz Frequencies

Abstract

We demonstrate structurally reconfigurable metamaterials with a marked tunability of both electric and magnetic responses at terahertz frequencies where artificial “atoms” reorient within unit cells in response to an external stimulus.
