Proportional-Integral Control for Wavelength Stabilization of a Synchronously-Pumped Optical Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

We present a rigorous method for the wavelength stabilization of a synchronously-pumped optical parametric oscillator using proportional-integral control. With wavelength stabilization active, the relative intensity noise is limited only by that of the pump laser.
