Abstract

We demonstrate broadband low power supercontinuum generation in arsenic sulphide (As<sup>2</sup>S<sup>3</sup>) tapered fiber nanowires with an effective area ~ 0.8 ?m<sup>2</sup>and nonlinearity gamma = 15,300 /W/km. Simulations showed good agreement between theory and experiment.
