Efficiency Droop in GaInN Solid-State-Lighting Devices

Abstract

The efficiency droop in GaInN light-emitting diodes (LEDs) is an impediment for the introduction of solid-state lighting technology. The origin of the droop will be discussed along with measures that mitigate the droop.
