Computer-Generated Holograms Written Directly on a Silicon Surface Including 3D and Rainbow Effects

Abstract

A femtosecond laser has been used to write computer-generated holograms directly on a silicon surface with a resolution of up to 28 kpixels/mm2. 3D and rainbow effects in off-axis holograms have been demonstrated.
